Accessibility

1.Our goal

We want everyone to be able to find the music: this website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.

2.What we have done

• Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus; the festival page has a “Skip to content” link.
• Text and controls are designed to meet contrast requirements, and buttons are large enough to tap easily.
• Images have text alternatives; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
• Motion is reduced when your device asks for it.
• Everything on the map is also available as text: the lineup, the schedule by porch and the “Near me” list.
• Porches with step-free access are marked ♿ on the map and in each porch’s details, with the host’s accessibility notes.

3.Known limitations

• The interactive map is visual by nature; use the schedule by porch or the “Near me” list instead.
• Band previews are played by YouTube, whose player we do not control.
• Walking directions open in Google Maps or Apple Maps.

4.Tell us about a barrier
